When booking a Ceramic Coating with TKS Detailing, here are the steps we take to apply the coating to your vehicle.

We will first wash do a contact wash on the vehicle, from there we will do a decon wash to remove any contaminations on the paint. The decon wash includes a clay bar and iron remover. After we are finished washing the paint, we move on to polishing. We will polish the vehicle to remove 60%-80% of scratches in the paint. After the polish we use a paint prep to remove any leftover polish, soap, etc to make sure the paint is ready for the coating, then we coat it!

After we coat it, your paint can’t get wet for 12-24 hours to allow the coating to fully cure.
